My professional career as a Thai massage therapist began in 2003 in the seaside resort town of Hua Hin which is located 250 kms south of Bangkok on the east coast of the peninsula. More recently, I’ve been sharing my time between Thailand and Chicago, where I’m in the process of developing a Thai massage studio.
Over the years and through a combination of both study and experience, I’ve been acquiring a wealth of knowledge which positively impacts human health and wellbeing such as energy lines, meditation, nutrition as well as a comprehensive knowledge of medicinal herbs.
I possess an unparalleled passion for health and balance through holistic healing. It is my conviction that anyone can achieve a healthy body and soul through basic and regular practice of certain disciplines such as healthy and balanced nutrition, yoga and meditation as well as enjoying frequent Thai massages.
My love for massage manifested itself when I was just a toddler. At that time, I would accompany my grand mother to the revered and famous Wat Poh in Bangkok, the most respected Thai massage learning center in the world. I would sit and watch as my grandmother attended classes. My tired nana would then ask me to massage her sore body. Thus was born a passion for healing and the well being of others. Through the years, I’ve kept learning directly from the hands of experienced and knowledgeable practitioners who many are now masters in the field. Over the years, I’ve developed my own form of Thai massage and have achieved a great reputation in my native Thailand.
Furthermore, I’ve acquired a great knowledge pertaining to the various medicinal plants from my own father who was ordained as a Thai monk over a decade ago.
I’m proud to say that I’ve now reached the teacher level in the art of Thai massage and have been certified to pass on my knowledge to eager students by the Traditional Medical Association of Thailand ( สมาคมแพทย์แผนไทย) as well as the Health Ministry of Thailand and I’m thus fully authorized to deliver Thai Massage certifications.
Although I’ve now reached a very high level of practice in the ancient art of Thai massage, I still see myself as a student and regularly exchange specialized knowledge with other expert practitioners from around the world.
